I stated taking photographs around circuits at 2008. At that time I had a small DSR Sony DCS-W80.
First I was interested in 4-wheel race, Super-GT, which is a Japan local race, using Toyota Lexus, Honda HSV, Nissan GT-R. I happened to visit motorcycle road race in Motegi in this year, maybe because the ticket was cheaper than 4-wheel race. It was below 4000 yen at that time.
I was surprised to see that the riders waved their hands to the spectators and supporters. It was a really ‘lively’. I really felt the riders are watching at us as we were watching them. With my small DSC I was not able to take the motorcycle running. So I mainly took photos of riders and palasoll girls at the pit walk.
in 2012, I finally purchased a Canon DSLR (it is an EOS Kiss X4 Japan model). From then I started practicing taking pictures of the racing riders. I believe that my photograph skill has improved much from 2012, in just two years.
Since when I started this blog fotodemo.net on wordpress.com, I have been looking for blogs about motorcycle races in other countries. However, I have not been able to blogs like mine.
This year I am going to write some entries of medium size in English and hopefully find some motorcycle race blogs on wordpress.com.
I will be on the circuits taking photos all around the year as often as my economic situation allows.
Happy racing 2014!
This is a participation for ‘Zero to Hero‘.
